John Eldredge: Wild at Heart : Discovering the Secret of a Man's Soul (Paperback - Revised Ed.); 2011 Edition

My review of that bookThis book is so desperately needed in a world of Identity Politics, set to strip men of masculinity. I am a woman, a woman who thrived in a male-dominated field. I don’t disagree that women are at times discriminated against. However, in the search for purpose and respect, I do not want to emasculate the other biological gender; I also believe that they seek purpose and respect. I bought this book to inspire me to raise my son and teach him to honor his sacred masculinity and not let the current injustices strip him of his self-worth because he may turn out to be a strong, courageous leader and not an in-vogue pansy.

I read the print version of this inspiring book and wanted my husband to be able to enjoy it as well but he prefers audio books - perfect solution. Our theology differs a bit (especially as regards the Fall) but Eldredge make truly beautiful and powerful points. A must read for every modern man and the women who love them. And their children. Just everyone should read this book!

It's an amazing book. It would be good for women to read it not just men.

Definitely would recommend reading this book and seeing the heart behind God.
