Great shielded connectors
Connectors. Worked great with my outdoor shielded cable. They seem quite solid and like they’ll last. I’ve grown to despise terminating cables, but as/if I need to I’ll use these whenever I run line outside.

Wish they were cheaper, but wouldn't buy anything else
I made the mistake of buying other connectors to save some money, and it wasted so much of my time. I used these with TrueCable CAT6A shielded cable to run HDMI over CAT. Other connectors had poor fit in jacks (hard to get that click), had tons of noise still, had loose connectors, and robbed me of literal hours of time because of how hard the pass through was to get right. These were simple. Line my conductor wires up and the slid right through. Easy to verify, easy to crimp, tested perfectly, worked perfectly with no noise. Even when used for HDMI (HDMI is much more susceptible to noise), they just worked. Fit in jacks is perfect, easy to remove, etc. Didn't think I could be so impressed by something so simple. but it was just such a relief.I only wish they could sell these at a sub $1.00/piece price without having to purchase so many

If you aren't using passthrough connectors you need to be!
These worked great and save a ton of time! Huge when you are doing an install and have 30-100 cables to terminate! I highly recommend the Klein VDV226-110 with these as well. Im sure other tools will work but this had never let me down with a single bad termination. If you aren't using passthrough RJ45 connectors you need to! You can strip the cable extra long since you don't need to worry about sizing the stripped wire up to hide inside the connector, simply strip a few inches to work with, line your wires up, push them though, verify that they didn't switch places with one another and crimp/trip all in one squeeze. Perfect every time!

Easy to use, although is comparatively expensive
Is a "must" to my crew in cabling installations

There was one part I struggled with
During the process of building a new home, I ran several thousand feet of trueCABLE Cat6A Shielded Riser (CMR) (B079NN5S58). To terminate the ends for UniFi access points and UniFi Protect cameras, I purchased these trueCABLE Cat6/6A RJ45 Pass Through Modular Plugs for Shielded (STP) cable. It's a great setup. Also, the trueCABLE RJ45 Strain Relief Boots, 7.5mm Slip-On PVC Plug Cover (B08MHS9N81) worked well, however, Plug Cover can't be used with all devices so make surety check prior to using them. The RJ45 Pass Through connector was great and my Klein Tools VDV226-110 made quick work of getting them terminated. The one issue I ran into was getting the tabs bent around. I tried several different methods but it would have been much easier if I had the trueCABLE all in one V2 tool (B089B4Z5RV).So. If you're going this route and haven't purchased the tools, you may want to consider the trueCABLE all in one V2 even though the Klein Tools VDV226-110 is rock solid. It will make you life easier as you crimp the grounding tabs for the shielded component.Pros:- Rugged and durable design- Secure cable connection- CAT 6a rated and designed for shielded cableCons:- Crimping the ground tabs can be a bit of a pain if you don't have the right tool. I was using the inside of my Klein Snips thumb hole to bend the tabs over and make sure they maintaind a shape that would allow for me to install the Plug Cover. It was a bit of a pain. But I prefer Klein Tools so it's what I had to do not wanting to buy the trueCABLE all in one V2.Would you recommend it to a friend? Yes, I would. I've purchased them multiple times.

Difficult to get wires in
Difficult to get the wires in with the shielded connector. You have to be sure and bend it out of the way on each connection.

High price each- quality good
Very expensive 10 pieces at $19.99 is 50 cents each and no carriges to make it easier to terminate. Giving it a Do Not Buy rating. However I do see people that don't know how to terminate these giving poor ratings, that's not fair since I installed all ten and not one failed. Price is poor, not quality

works great, but deep recess
to get this to work you will want to strip the outer coating of ur cat cable to expose a good 3 inches of the twisted pairs before trying to poke them into their designated holes one by one working from one side to the other in the connector. other than that these work great, just requires a bit of patience.i won't bother to dock any points in my review because that might make these compete with so much other stuff on amazon with terrible quality. the quality on these isn't bad, you'll just need a bit of patience to deal with the design.
