Easy to use and the battery life is good for those small jobs. Lightweight but does the job just don't expect it to cut branches over 20mm thick - it's not meant to be a chainsaw!

Lives up to its name. Great advantage in buying Bosch is the quality of the product and the flexibility in using their rechargeable batteries for a whole range of tools. The balance of the trimmer is excellent making it easy to handle for a senior gentleman with a dodgy wrist. Cuts tidily and handles my photinia and Berberis hedges well. Like the facility of a locking mechanism that prevents damage from jamming. Great purchase.

Cuts thinner branches really well but can take a bit of effort to take down hedges with thicker growth. Not overly loud ideal for residential areas. General build is sturdy, minimalistic and not overly complicated to use/ maintain. It isn't excessively heavy so it is easy to balance and work with for extended periods of time. Battery life is great lasts a long time between charges can easily do a full 5 meter long hedge and still have most of the battery left over for another job. Only thing that was a dissapointment was the amount of power obviously it will be lesser compared to a petrol alternative but the speed of the blade is noticeably slower which feeds back to its ability to cut something a little more dense (like clusters of vines) as it can get stuck on them mid cut.

Nice trimmer, does a good job. Not the most powerful, but cuts up to 12-13mm stems. Easy to handle, battery charges quickly. But is for small gardens and light trimming. Battery lasts enough to do a small garden.

Excellent! Charged up the battery and tidied up my hedge and a couple of shrubs with ease. Light enough this 65 year old grandma with arthritic hands could manage it easily. Would recommend for small gardens, larger hedges etc might need a corded model but the battery lasted 30 minutes of work and hadn’t given up when I’d finished. Not too noisy, cut through the branches of hedge well and zipped across the top smoothly and light enough to keep it level.

Pros: 1. Lightweight and well balanced. 2. Reasonable price. 3. Cuts well and easily; I did not try cutting any branches more than c10mm diameter. 4. Battery holds charge surprisingly well and power usage seems to be low. 5. Robust. On first use, I managed to drop it from the top of a 2m high privet hedge! Admittedly the fall was broken by privet stalks and the ground was soft, but it escaped any damage. 6. The Anti-Blocking system seems to work but this is impossible to verify. Cons: 1. The blade tip protector is a PITA. It is far too long at 4.5cms and renders the end of the blade unusable. The result is it is nigh on impossible to start a new cut midway into a dense hedge; you have to start the cut from the end of the hedge or force the tip protector to bend the obstructing branches out of the way. It also makes it difficult to judge whether you can cut that irritating solitary branch just at the end of your reach. This means it is probably useless for topiary work, which requires precision. I may well break off the plastic tip of mine. 2. The forward power switch location means the loss of a lot of reach length compared to my old Ryobi. 5 cms could be gained in reach if that switch was located further back. Moreover the grip required on the front handle results in greater loss of reach. I had to wait 6 weeks for delivery. I assumed it had to come from China but turns out this is made in Hungary. You would have thought that with 40+ years of supplying the German automotive industry, Bosch might have mastered the art of Just-In-Time; evidently not!

Very pleased with my purchase. I use to pay £70 twice a year to have a gardener cut my trees and hedges. Now I do my own and they paid for themselves after one cut. I also own the cordless pole trimmer and I have spare batteries on hand. The only thing I don't like is the dual safety handles that both have to be pressed to start the trimmers. Not easy up a ladder one handed but fixed with a small clamp. This is what I do to work one handed and I wouldn't recommend others todo this. I would recommend to others to buy this trimmer.

Marre de mon taille-haie thermique de + de 5kg, je me suis lancé dans la recherche d'un taille-haie fonctionnant sur batterie et disposant déjà de plusieurs batteries 18 volts pour mes outils Bosch, ce model à rencontrer toutes mes attentes. Il fait le travail comme un grand et ne faibli pas même après 30 min d'intense utilisation. Allez-y....

Lätt och smidig häcksax för trimning av häck och buskar! Fungerar suveränt ! Klarar dock inte grenar över 1,5 - 2 cm då den börjar tugga sönder grenen utan att få av den Smidigt med batterisystem med batterier som passar många olika verktyg då man bara byter till ett laddat batteri när det är slut! Går ganska snabbt ladda betteri i ladddaren, 40-70 min beroende på hur stort batteri man har !

Se maneja muy bien y pesa poco,el tema baterías va perfecto imagino que también influirá como tú las cuides ,las mías son nuevas de una taladradora y va genial.

Ce taille haie Bosch EasyHedgeCut 18V-52-13 livré sans batterie ni chargeur fonctionne parfaitement , je l'utilise avec une batterie de 2,5 Ampères heures utilisée aussi pour un taille haies téléscopique Bosch UniversalHedgePole 18 et un Coupe -Bordures Bosch EasyGrassCut 18V-26. Une seule batterie et un seul chargeur suffisent pour mes 3 appareils , je recommande ces appareils fiables et durables.

I am so unhappy that there wasn't a charger nor a battery. I now have to buy these items before I can use this item. This information was not very clear. Had I known, I would never have purchased it. I will be returning this item. Such a disappointment.
