Better than the offical attachment
I used to have the official KitchenAid 3-piece pasta maker attachment, and it worked great. If I recall correctly, I bought it off of Amazon, and review it too. I no longer have that 3-piece attachment, and I wanted to make pasta again, but I didn't want to spent so much money. I risked it with this third-party attachment, and I'm very happy with it. It's all in one, rather than being 3 separate pieces, which makes it easier to store. It weighs less, which is nice, since the official one weighs an unreasonable amount. Functionally it seems identical - I've made both wide and thin pasta with it so far, and it has worked great. Like the official one it comes with a handy little brush to get the dried dough out of it, though not much gets stuck in in the first place. The bottom detaches for easier cleaning, which is excellent. I've really got no complaints. It's a great product, does everything you'd want it to do, and it costs way less than the official one. Why waste money when you can get this one instead?

Great little kitchen tool
I purchased this to make crackers. I have carpal tunnel in my wrist and this is much easier to use than the manual one. It gets my crackers much thinner than what you can with a roller. I've only used it once with my daughter (age 8) and even she was able to use it. The only thing I don't love about it is that there isn't any safety guard to prevent someone from putting something into it. Make sure your hair is tied back and kids are supervised. My daughter even used the fettuccine and spaghetti part and it worked flawlessly.

Durable and great quality.
Super durable and be great product. Honestly Ive seen some of the well known brands but those prices are crazy. I thought purchasing this product would mean that I sacrifice a little bit of durability but absolutely not.I was also pleaently surprised that it comes with a year warranty... Although I doubt I'd have to use it.It locks into the number you want and actually locks. No chance of it sliding into the wrong position. Not dishwasher friendly, but none of their competitors are either.

Built strong. Should last years. Versatile. Multi-purpose. Very impressed with performance.
We have had a kitchen aid mixer for sometime now. We wanted to try making pasta at home, experimenting with different flours and ingredients. The store-bought pasta is beginning to look a little unhealthy now. So, we bought this attachment. I have to say this works wonders. Here are our immediate impressions after using it for 3 days now.- I am very impressed with the 3-in-1 feature. Although this attachment is mainly designed as fettuccine and spaghetti maker, I love the pasta sheet roller because that helps us cook other items too, like a flatbread etc. So, that's great.- The attachment is mostly all metal, so it is built strong and looks strong. It should last a while.- The cutter functions work great and the teeth and blades are sharp. The only concern I have at this moment are what to do when the cutter blades become blunt? Do I have to buy another attachment and throw this one away? Or is there a way to remove these cutters and sharpen them again? I cannot say for sure at this moment by just looking at it, but that stage is a few years down the line. So, let's see what happens.
