Do you provide information on how to clean areas that are positive for mold?

We are a accredited laboratory that only does the analysis of the samples. We are not licensed to be able to clean the mold or able to tell someone how to clean the mold. Please either call a mold professional and or do some goggle research on the proper way to clean the area with mold.

There are 3 swabs and also 3 strips? Is swabbing carpet productive? Is there a petri dish? Do the samples need to germinate? thanks

Yes there are swab and tape. Usually swab use for wet surface and for dry you can use the tape. For the Carpet if you suspect mold growth and you see dark colors you can use the tape , if you use the swab make sure you rub the sample back and forth to pick up things. The sample does not need to germinate because it is surface and not culture. There is no Petri dish.

You should get the results within a week from mailing it. They send you an email with the results.
