Q: How is this game different from Matchmaker Chapter Two?

The second version has clearer directions and tokens to keep track of points. This version is not very fun to play with only 2 people and it's obviously a first-incarnation of the game. Unless you have a steady group of Austen aficionados to play with, you're going to want to spring for Chapter Two.

Q: How does this game work? i have the marrying mr. darcy game and i don't want to purchase this game if it's similar.

It's very different. This is a card game hat has all Austen characters not just P&P characters. I own both and like them both. Where the theme is similar they are not the same by any means.

Fun family card game.

Fun card game for all. Especially enjoyable for Austen aficionados. Knowing characters and dialogue from the books and movies generates some extra laughs.

It was a bit tedious to figure out all the rules but was exceedingly enjoyable once we got them down.
