I wish he had made the story longer!
I love this story and my only disappointment as a 7th Grade English Teacher. Nag and Nagaina gave me a John Lennon and Yoko vibe. Great read, Long Live Rikki Tikki Tavi.

Beautifully written by a master of tale telling. It is enhanced by the delicate illustrations. Kipling clearly loved the feisti ess of the mongoose.
