Perfect gift for children with inquiring minds! my nine-year-old wants to be a forensic scientist When he grows up. distance learning has been challenging for him. this microscope has been great for giving him a hands on learning experience and also adding some fun as well.Overall Very happy with this purchase. It came beautifully packaged. he uses it nearly every day for the past couple of months. zooming into all kinds of things from spiders to dust bunnies.Every day has been a new learning adventure! The microscope itself has a High quality look and feel to it. It's Compact, lightweight and easy to use!he was able to operate it all by himself and set it up right out of the box. instructions are clear and easy to follow. it synced and paired seamlessly with his iPad. he gets impressive crisp, clear, and vivid picture Results. The LED light is bright and actually more useful than we expected it to be andThe magnification power that it has is very impressive. The price is an unbelievable value. This gadget has totally surpassed my expectations.Highly recommend

This thing is awesome. Everyone tries to borrow it.
There is a bit of learning curve for getting pictures in focus but once you get the hang of that, you will be looking at very small things up close in detail. Bug eyes are about the neatest thing I've been able to get in focus. But just about everything around you under a microscope is pretty neat. Worth the money for sure. Would buy again.

Works great.
I have been using this for almost a year to see trichomes on my plants. It is perfect for this application. This morning I found it had fallen off the shelf to the concrete floor and was in pieces. Put everything back together and it is working fine.

Not bad for a cheap microscope
For $30, I wasn't expecting much. But it hasn't been half bad at all. I'm showing pictures of a closeup of a ring with tiny engravings (taken in the dark indoors). My eyes are getting old so it's nice to be able to see the details again.I had no trouble finding and downloading the app on Google Play. It installed just fine. Connected to my Pixel 6 just fine. It does give an error message about the connection not having internet access, but that's ok as the microscope is not designed to give me internet access.

OK to use overall, not for very small stuff
I got this based on a suggestion for electronics repair. The advertised 1000x is not true, it is more like fixed 50x-ish with digital zoom (via smartphone only, not via USB). The dial with the label 50x-1000x is actually focus dial and does not change the zoom. This will not pick up really small items like an amoeba or other single celled organism or some of the smaller electronics component. It is OK overall with decent 1024x768 shot or video. The software for Windows is rather minimal but good enough for average users. I could not use Android version, I kept getting "This was made for older version of Android" and got lots of error trying to connect (Samsung A32) so I was unable to test the wifi part or the digital zoom.EDIT: Camera software has a bug. When I try to exit it, I got error message "Unable to write to camera.ini" and the software refuses to quit. I had to force it to quit through Taskmanager. Sounds like broken permission setting? Program needs to be fixed to work correctly under Windows 10?EDIT 2: it seems there's been a change in T mobile version of Android OS that changes how permission worked. From Reddit forum, someone said the app is not working on mine because it wasn't updated to ask for permission to connect via wifi directly, thus the app will never work on my Android OS. I've decided to return this since I am not buying an older Android device just to use this, will look for a different wifi camera.

Educational Digital Microscope For Laptops/PCs with USB Ports
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this digital microscope to use with my son. We already have one with a flexible crane base, and I wanted one with a more traditional tripod or stabilized base.Although this microscope is advertised as working with cell phones, smart phones, and tablets, I was never able to get it to pair. But that's okay, because I would typically use this with a laptop running Windows 10. And for that purpose-- with a USB port-- it was plug-and-play.Honestly, the base of this microscope is not as rock-solid as I would have liked. Even with it cranked down as tight as possible, it tends to droop or sag under it's own weight. Be aware of that if you intend to rely upon the stand for rigidity. But again, for my purposes, and my young son (4yo), we are not splitting atoms or looking at mitochondrial DNA. This video I took is of beach sand, and that's more what we'll be doing until he gets much older. I think we'll also look at some leaves and fruit and vegetables. Therefore a stand really isn't even necessary. The picture quality is good, the focus ring works excellent, and the LED lighting is a real plus (as you need more illumination the more you intend to zoom-in).Happy overall with everything except the base/stand.

Great Product. but poor Support of it.
Product arrived timely and undamaged. The Product was obtained to assist in PCB creation and modifications/repairs. Circuit Traces can be easily examined and followed when using the Scope. The WiFi allows for the elimination of any cables to get in the way of what ever work is being performed on a PCBThe only downside to the Product is that only one viewing device can be attached to the onboard WiFi Access Point of the Scope, so other options have to be used such as a Projector or Shared Viewing applications when more then one Viewer is requesting the output from the Scope. Additional connections to the Scope's Access Point would be useful so that multiple Users can connect to it.Students in a classroom could then all attach to the Scope in this manor and view the image directly from their devices at their desks, instead of an Instructor requiring additional equipment such as a projector or other shared wifi resources or hardware.Attempts to contact Support are ignored. Rating downgraded to a 1 for it.

Información incompleta
El instrumento es muy bueno, pero desgraciadamente la información para descargar el software le lleva a uno ainstalar cosas que no se desean y por alguna razón no funciona en una laptop, solo en tablets y teléfonos.
