Brilliant Colors and Easy Control – A Smart Upgrade for My Home
I picked up the LIFX Smart Light Bulbs A19 E26 (2 Pack) to upgrade my living room lighting, and I’m genuinely impressed. Setting them up was a breeze—just screw them in, connect to Wi-Fi, and they were ready to go in minutes. No hub needed, which made it really convenient compared to some other smart bulbs I’ve tried. The color range is fantastic. I’ve played around with everything from warm white for cozy evenings to bright, vivid colors for movie nights or virtual parties. The 1100 lumens brightness is plenty for most rooms, and the light feels crisp and natural rather than harsh. I also love that I can schedule lighting, sync it with music, or control it remotely through the LIFX app. One thing that stood out is the responsiveness. Adjusting colors or brightness is almost instant, and integration with Alexa and Google Home works flawlessly. The bulbs also feel high-quality—solid and well-built, not the cheap-feeling kind that often dims quickly over time. The only small drawback is that these bulbs are a bit larger than standard A19 bulbs, so they might not fit in all fixtures, especially ones with shades that hug the bulb closely. Otherwise, they’re fantastic. Overall, these LIFX bulbs have completely transformed my room lighting. For anyone looking for reliable, vibrant, and fully controllable smart bulbs, I’d say this 2-pack is a perfect starting point.

Amazing, vibrant, and functional
These bulbs certainly delivered on their promises, with very vibrant colors and very good white temperatures too. The process of pairing is a bit unusual, each bulb creates a temporary local wifi network and you have to pair them using that, but I figured out how to pair them and they work flawlessly! They also have seamless integration into home assistant, do a great job at lighting up the entire room, and 1% brightness can get really dim for a nice night light setting that won’t disturb sleep. Easily one of the best smart bulbs out there.

They work amazingly
These are great pair seamlessly I bought them to use in my a15 light bulb in my celiing fan and while they are shorter they still wouldn’t let me put the dome on completely but I made it work but the lights themselves are great and pair easily and you don’t have to buy a hub or anything. Like most other lights 10/10!!

Fabulous!
I have been using smart lights for some time now. I have almost my whole house outfitted with the things. Most of which are Phillips hue or wiz bulbs. (Because my hue bridge keeps telling me it can’t add anything else. I think scenes take a spot on the bridge or something. ) After seeing these, I decided to try them since they were on sale and they looked promising. Maybe it was a mistake because these are brighter and the light has a quality the hue bulbs don’t. I just ordered two more because I like them so much. Installation wasn’t too bad. I did need to rescue the little instruction booklet out of the rubbish though because, and this is very important, the barcode you need to scan to set up HomeKit is on that paper and if you don’t have it for the initial setup, I am unsure if you will be able to install them properly. There is a barcode to scan for each bulb. I am used to HomeKits oddities however and once I determined that I could hold my phone by the bulb until Alaska becomes a tropical rainforest and it still wasn’t going to work, I had to track it down. Once I had scanned the proper barcode for each bulb, it was super simple to install. Just a tip, if you have a lamp that takes more than one bulb and a switch cycle to turn it off, it might be more effective to simply unplug the lamp and plug it back in 5 times, rather than trying to cycle through it all 5 times. So anyhow, the pros are: no bridge. Fabulous saturated realistic full spectrum light. Compatibility with Siri and Alexa and most other voice assistants. I like the app too. Also, Amazon offers 90 days of free tech support, so if you have a problem connecting these, call Amazon. Cons: price. I admit these will likely last for what seems like forever but I thought hue was expensive.

ANDROID USERS MUST DO THIS TO GET THE BULBS TO PAIR!
As the Title Suggests. The process for setting up these bulbs is unnecessarily complex for android users, but once you do it, the actual use of the bulbs is simple. In order to get the devices to show connect to you wifi network, you MUST enable airplane mode on your android device and then enable your wifi afterward on the device WHILE KEEPING AIRPLANE MODE ENABLED. For whatever reason, the app will time out and fail to pair the device if you do not do this. this is in the instructions on the website when you got to troubleshoot the issue, but for whatever reason that have not updated the literature inside of the box itself. Even after you do this, the bulb may fail to connect to the network the first time you go to pair it. if that happens, simple turn it off and on 5 times and allow it to cycle through the light sequence before attempting to pair it again. As for the product itself, It is extremely bright and has a great quality to the light. I am replacing a house full of lohas smart bulbs, and the the difference in the quality and color of light in person is night and day. Its cleaner, its more even, and it fills a space better. The picture in the listing is the Lifx bulb on the right and the Lohas bulb on the left. Keep in mind you can often get 8 lohas bulbs from the price of a SINGLE lifx so they punch well above their weight class, but there is a difference and a noticeable one is a side by side comparison. The array of visible colors is much better and the accuracy of often hard to hit colors like yellows, vibrant greens, and pink are present and vibrant. The ONLY issue i have with these bulbs is the pairing process. There is no reason i can fathom that it needs to be this complex, but it is and for the result i am willing to pay the price of having to turn on airplane mode for the initial setup. no issued controlling these with my google enabled home devices. Would reccomend.

Solid wifi light bulbs
I got my first Lifx light bulbs about 8 years ago. I have about 25 of them all over the house now and did not run into any issues with them. They are responsive, no sounds, work offline, the app works (online) from anywhere. I have them wired up to a some smart switches and connected via home assistant. You get a lot of colors. The colors vary a little between different generations. Realistically, I pretty much always use few different white tones, never the actual colors. They could be brighter but I'm sure they hit the lumens that they promise.

Stay Far Away From LIFX Products, LIFX Does Not Stand Behind Its Products!
I ordered this LIFX product because they advertise ease of set up and great functionality. This couldn't be further from the truth. I was not able to get the light to connect to my WIFI so I went through all of the help topics on their site. None of the solutions resolved my connectivity issue so I reached out to the LIFX Customer Support Department, which you can only (conveniently for them) contact by email. I informed the service tech that I was unable to get the light to connect and had worked through the help topics on the site. This is where everything started to go bad. The customer service from LIFX is atrocious. It takes anywhere from 3-5 days to get a response to every email and the service techs apparently don't read the emails sent to them. The service tech I was dealing with, Felipe C., started by sending me instructions on how to repeat the exact same steps from the help topics on the site. So it had to move through the same steps even though I repeatedly told him I had tried them, only this time I had to do it over a period of weeks because I was continually waiting for responses from them. The light still failed to connect even after multiple attempts so I asked for a warranty replacement. Felipe asked that I provide various pieces of information regarding the light, including my receipt of purchase, and the light's serial and lot numbers, which he claimed would be printed on the light bulb. My bulb did not have a serial and lot number but it did have a model number that corresponded with the model I bought and I informed Felipe of that, which I didn't think was odd because Felipe also claimed that the light should have a HomeKit code printed on it and it didn't have that either. The website states that older lights without HomeKit codes are still being sold so I thought it reasonable that an older light would also not have serial and lot numbers printed on them. Felipe's response was that I had not purchased a LIFX product and that they would not be able to warranty the light. This response floored me because the product was shipped and sold by Amazon, I had a receipt, the light had a model number printed on it that corresponded with the model that I bought, and the product came in untampered with LIFX packaging. Felipe of course was not able to articulate to me how this could have happened and seemingly did not care that it seems so far fetched. I was already past the 30-day Amazon return window because it had taken so long to work through the customer service process but Felipe and LIFX did not care and thrust the whole situation back on Amazon to resolve. Thankfully Amazon is a much better company than LIFX and Amazon stood behind its sale and provided me a refund even though I was outside the 30-day window. Anyone considering LIFX products should be extremely wary because LIFX apparently does not stand behind its products and will not be there to make things right when their products malfunction or do not work properly.

Bright, Vibrant Colors and Tons of Features, but Setup Can Be Tricky
The LIFX Color A19 bulbs are impressive with their bright 800 lumens output and full RGB color-changing capability. Once set up, they’re incredibly fun and versatile—you can control them from your smartphone, set schedules, create scenes, and even sync them with music or other smart home devices. The colors are vibrant, and the whites range from warm to cool tones, making them perfect for any mood or occasion. I especially love how responsive they are when using voice assistants like Alexa or Google Assistant. The only downside was the initial setup. Connecting to Wi-Fi and pairing with the app took a few tries, which was a little frustrating. Once connected, though, they’ve been rock solid with no dropouts. Overall, these are fantastic smart bulbs with lots of features and excellent performance—just be patient during the first setup.
