I thought I was buying the Non-Scratch (blue/green) as per photo which would normally be more expensive than the heavy duty (yellow/green), that's why I paid for that price. But when the item was delivered today, I got the heavy duty (i.e. yellow/green). Went back to check the item description and found it's heavy duty (yellow/green). Not very happy, is the seller trying to trick buyers?

My partner and I first encountered these sponges when we lived in North America. They are ubiquitous there, and are well known for being the best sponges for doing the dishes due to the durability of the sponge material & the robust scrubbing side. Fast forward to our arrival in Blighty and we are delighted to see these sponges still available in our local Sainsbury's, so we continue using these for a few years until one day - when for some unknown reason all of our local supermarkets stop carrying these brilliant little kitchen sponges.The only place these days I can find them is here on Amazon. Do not be fooled by similar looking sponges that offer better "value" - I'm specifically talking about the Mr. Siga Non-Scratch Cellulose Sponges. While they are cheaper in price, if you buy them you will find out they are cheaper in every other way, too. The scrubbing side will literally fall apart within the first week or so of use, unless you have a heavily dirty pan that you scrub on day 1 - it will start falling apart as soon as it is used. I went through a 9 pack of Mr. Siga sponges in about 2 months, which was about 1 sponge per week. These 3M Scotch Brite sponges....I typically use 1 per MONTH! I have used 6 sponges since opening this current pack around Christmas 2021.These offer true value - they are hard wearing sponges that are unequalled in the kitchen. You won't be disappointed.
