My hair looked silkier, and it still felt just as soft, but it was more flowy than before. It only took about 30 mins to do my whole head. I also straightened my biracial nieces wavy (not at all curly) hair on 310°. I don’t have pics. With the oil-based heat protectant, her hair looked silky and polished, but kinda wet. I switched to Cantu for the other half of her head, and it was straight, but not as silky. I very, very lightly applied some of the oil-based heat protectant to the top quadrant of her head and finished up. A couple hours later, the oil-based half of her hair was still silky and straight, while the mixed half had fly aways, and was not as straight at the ends. It didn’t look like she had her hair straightened with heat, it looked more like naturally straight hair.
