Fun toy for 2020
This was a great project for me and my 8 year old. She love it and we can change the robot into many different forms. We haven’t try the water bot but I am sure it’s cool and fun. So far the solar is much stronger than what I expected. At first my wife doesn’t believe that the robot will move we try all the lights in the house, turns out it have to be under sun light because all of our lights are LED or LCD lol. They don’t produce that many watts. Assemble is a little hard for my 8 years old but over all great toy for 2020.

More like a model with parts on runners.
What is awesome about this kit is it is just that, a model kit. Anyone who is able to build plastic models from makers like Tamiya or Monogram will enjoy this. My son, who can build snap time models was not ready for this type of building yet but he enjoyed helping me make it with him. The solar panels works well and it's clever how they have it set up. I wanted something easier for him to do on his own so I was back looking for something else. It makes several different robots and the instructions must be followed exactly. It will require some knowledge of how things work together as if anything is out of align the solar panel won't be strong enough to make the robot walk or move. It's not something you can build shortly but will challenge kids who are comfortable building and troubleshooting things.

Pretty good
This was a good gift for my children but the pieces brake easily and solar power is confusing otherwise good :)

A nice starter kit. Great STEM product for great price! Exciting gift.
Thus far I like it. I bought it for my kid and, although I needed to assemble the first two modules, I know she'll be able to do the other assemblies. In kits like this the instructions must be good to be able to properly assemble the product and this is the case with the kit. I have yet to charge the cell but I like that is pretty straight forward to "connect" to the cell. I am looking forward to see what my kid creates with it.

Fun putting together with my son, but the solar part does not work. Disappointing
