Seastar Hydraulic Steering kit was just what the doctor ordered. I had changed the seals on my hydraulic steering and needed to purge air from the system. The hose connections fit perfectly and functioned as necessary making it easy to vent air bubbles. Using this well designed kit saved time and money.

great locally made in Charleston, SC.
First, I have a UFLEX hydraulic steering system. No one (I read) had mentioned whether the thread fitting was compatible, seems like the majority of steering systems are Sea Star. I also have the remote filler console fitting. Many have the refill fitting in the collar of the steering wheel. That said, fit perfectly! Attached a bottle of UFLEX hydraulic oil, and the oil slowly filled the reservoir and then the tube. The air bubbles came up, fluid went down. Take your time turning the steering slowly, port to starboard and back. Once the bubbles stopped, it was good. Great product, love the brass fittings and made (locally) Charleston, SC.

This tool makes bleeding hydraulic steering on boats quick and easy. A must have!!!
