I Want to Trust This Book
I’ve been doing intermittent fasting for a month now and was excited to add this book to my study materials. I want to love it and more importantly trust the content but the editorial issues in this book make some parts incoherent. I’m actually reading this book right now and stopped to write this review. If you are the type of person who gets tripped up by books that are poorly edited please do yourself a favor and pick another book.

Can fasting increase your energy?
When your metabolism slows down, you need to rev it up. Fasting is one way to do this. Intermittent fasting is choosing a set number of hours to fast, then a set number of hours to eat. In theory, you will make better food choices if you know you can only. Eat during an 8 hour window and have nothing to eat during the remaining 16 hours. The number of fasting hours is up to you. Adjust as you try it.

Excellent explanation of fasting
This book does a really good job outlining what Intermittent fasting is and the benefits you can expect. I thought it was great that the author was realistic in how your body may feel while fasting and how long these feelings can last. I appreciated that very realistic approach. I liked that the author outlined the different fasting types and what each entails. This allows the reader to find the type that will fit their personality and lifestyle. Overall, I learned a lot and enjoyed reading this book.

If you want to give intermittent fasting a try, this book has all the information you need to be successful along with some healthy recipe ideas to get you started.

This was a good book that explains fasting and how it affects your body. Intermittent fasting can help you lose weight, balance hormones and it's not an expensive diet with meal costs.

I was looking for meal samples and was disappointed. First book I read so I’m going to keep looking for what I am needing.

Good information
I love using intermittent fasting along with a healthier diet and this book is full of great tips especially for women over age 50.
