Pretty salty
I cooked this with cabbage and made several burritos. The flavor is a bit too much for me…heavy on salt and paprika, so I would have preferred tvp and my own choice of spices. If you like using mock meat, I think it’s worth a shot.

It's a little bland for "spicy"
I always mix with other things, beans, peppers & it makes for a good Mexican Protein base.

Weird, but it works
I’m not sure I would use this for tacos… the flavor reminds me more of Indian food than Southwestern. But I mixed it with a little bit of bbq sauce for some sloppy joe-style “meat” and with baked beans as a protein-packed standalone meal. Not bad, but didn’t pan out for what I expected to use it for.

Highly recommend, very good taste and texture, organic,NO SOY!
The media could not be loaded. My favorite vegan meat crumbles out there! Organic, no soy! Worked perfectly for burritos/tacos, pasta sauce bolognese, and I made the southwest taco salad that's on plant boss website. They make me full. They have a meaty texture but without the fleshy/bloody taste of meat(i'm not looking for a product with a red meat taste). It might take you a couple times to figure out how much water you need when cooking it. It's easy to prepare. Takes me around 20 minutes to have them ready. The other ones i've tried are the all purpose and mild taco. Same texture and work well, only spices a bit different. The southwest taco is the most seasoned and a bit more spicy.I wish plant boss can soon make chickenless strips! I'm not the brands out there because they contain soy or are not organic.
