inspection camera with Light, Dual Lens Endoscope Camera 16.5FT

This is a superb piece of kit to have in your workshop to view those places you cannot get to. I tried this out to have a look at the state of my gutters and it worked very well. I stuck the tubing to a long stick with masking tape and held it out of windows. I was able to see what was in the gutters easily and the battery lasted well. The focus is brilliant as not only can you see close items but also those quite a way distant. I assumed it would only focus at a short distance but was surprised. I used this today to have a look inside a very small area of ceiling that needed re-plastering as the plaster had cracked while working on an inspection panel just below. After removing the cracked pieces of ceiling I was able to look inside the ceiling to see how best to repair it and it was great to be able to see everything so clearly. I have only used the basic function so far as that has shown all I needed but I know it has other functions which I may get around to using. It is great that it comes with a 32 Gb Micro SD card to record video and pictures. You need to have a USB charging plug to charge it. They are cheap to buy if you have not got one to use. The product is easy to use and the cable length is adequate for most jobs. It can connect to your computer to view the videos and photos or you can remove the Micro SD card. I ordered a small cloth bag to keep the product in and it fitted in there well, with a zipped pocket to store the charging lead, instructions etc. This is one of the best products I have ever purchased - very usable and solves DIY problems by being able to see things you could not previously view.

Excellent piece of kit. Easy to use, clear pictures and video. Recommend this for a great variety of jobs, from drain inspections to engine problems - it can see far more than you can!

V useful for what I wanted. Glad I got a 'bit better' one with the side camera. Seems/feels well constructed and 'solid'- time will tell. Fully self contained. Battery life is pretty good. Screen is good - useful to be able to invert the image. Still/Video recordings are v handy altho a bit lower quality than the live pics. V easy to operate - but note that all these sort of devices can be tricky to actually use - ie get to where you want for a good view and then understand what you are seeing -usually close up- on the screen. Takes practice, which is to be expected. Obv, you can't steer the camera head like you could on a (£x,000 !) medical/top line endoscope. The cable is v stiff which is good for some jobs but less good for others (Can get 'more bendy' ones) A carry case would have been nice but- for £63 - I'd definitely say it was good value for money and am happy with mine.

Upon receiving the endoscope I opened the box and switched it, without opening the instruction book I found it simple and easy to use as it operates in a logical way, plus the icons on the buttons clearly identify their function. The cable for the camera is more than sufficient in length and can be easily straightened out and bent to suit the task. The camera is lovely and clear, the light is a great touch and being able to adjust is an added bonus and handy to limit over exposure. The screen is nice and clear giving a clear view of the camera and whatever you are viewing. The best features for me are the functionality of the camera and the ability to rotate the camera view 180 degrees, however the real party piece is the dual camera and being able to switch to the side view, which can prove invaluable. The extras included such as magnet are a nice touch and great for retrieving that dropped nut or screw up. All in all I am very impressed with the endoscope and it is real value for money, tough, rugged, great functionality, excellent battery life, highly recommend

Very good little device. There's a lot of gadget for the money!

This is the dual lens version with the long reach probe. I did my research and took my time. There are undoubtedly better quality versions out there but at a very different price. For my purposes this is just perfect. Thus far I’m hugely impressed. What a piece of technology! Intuitive controls, neat smart and easy to use. Setting aside all the “tech spec” you turn it on, position it and get quite superb pictures with crisp, sharp, well lit, clarity. Even the packaging shouts quality. Worth getting a proper carry case and I’m surprised they failed to provide some type of protective cap/cover for the lens but not a problem. The battery life seems good and not the slightest criticism beyond that. I think you’d struggle to do better for the money. I recommend.

The camera picture is ok but it's quite laggy/noisey and blurs when panning which make it a bit difficult to searcher for things. It creates avi video that won't replay on a Mac unless you transcode it first. The camera cable itself is pretty stiff which also makes it tricky to manoeuvre . Overall probably what you might expect for the price.

Perfect works really well

So had an issue with a plug stuck in my DEF fill line on my RV. Couldn't fill the DEF and well kindof need to. I knew what happened just couldn't see the 10" down the pipe to check out getting out the plug. Looked over the Top ten of these and saw quite the variety and price and ratings. This one was #2 but had more that what I wanted to see and in my view, great value. Sooo, it arrives, great packaging and excellent quality out of the box.. I'm liking my choice. Tested it out in the kitchen, wife say I have too much nose hair, so it works great and out to the RV I go. Well about 3 minutes in I not only see the plug but devise a 'rescue' plan. Slid a straitened metal hanger I put an L on the end and slid it down the pipe beside the camera. Felt like one of those robot working surgeons. Great quality picture and easy to manipulate this in this 1.5" tube. I worked the L in behind the plug, gave a little tug and worked it back to about 6 or 7 inches from opening. My long needle nose plyers could just reach, again, beside the camera and HELLO, I got it out. Toooo pumped and very low stress. I had thought of going to Dealer or pulling off the hose and see what I could do the old fashioned way but 15 minutes and I can now head to the store to get DEF fluid. Yup great investment and can relax for future small space viewings. Cheers. D

worth the money, very clear detailed images on the built in monitor. easy understand, simple interface. supports a micro SD card for taking images or videos as well. i recommend it, not bad
