Sauder Carson Forge Headboard, Full/Queen, Coffee Oak finish

It looks nice when it's put together. And yes..... it's as heavy assembled as it was in the box, so it will still weigh 80+lbs after you put it together, so why be amazed that it's "so heavy"?? As for assembly, it really isn't that difficult, especially if you've ever put Sauder stuff together before. It takes about an hour, but it wasn't rocket science. I assembled mine in the living room, flipped it over on its top and slid it into the bedroom. Then I flipped it over and nudged it into place . NO need to lift it at all. Quality is good, look is good and it's sturdy. Just be sure to anchor it to the wall if you have a fear of it rattling somehow. Only complaint is the gap at the back since the top doesn't sit flush with the back.

Amazing piece of furniture! I'm awestruck at the quality and the presence of this headboard! Worth twice the price! The quality of the Sauder line of furniture is amazing! I was in need of a bureau and ordered one by Sauder. I couldn't believe the quality and then right down the rabbit hole I went! I ordered a dresser and a mirror and a night stand and this headboard! The chest is next and I have a few pieces on my wish list. I dare say I'm addicted to Sauder furniture now! Easy to assemble with well illustrated instructions. Of all the pieces I ordered there was not one bit of damage on any of it. It is well packaged and I can't account for why people are finding damage. In fact I was horrified when I came home and found that the headboard and dresser were delivered and left in a deep puddle. I ran to get them out of the puddle but the boxes were so heavy and I lost control of them and they both went crashing to the ground. Again horrified. I was almost in tears when I was unpacking because I was so afraid of what I would find. Not one scratch and no water damage. I don't understand the reports of furniture arriving damaged. Maybe they dropped from the plane or fell out of the truck going down the highway. That's what it would take. 😉

After terrible shipping issues with UPS, wish there were other shipping options, this product finally arrived 3 weeks later. Was a bit skeptable about this product after ordering and reading more reviews, but thought what the heck, if UPS ever delivers it it might be worth if. Well it definitely was for sure. The packaging could have been better, but I'm sure this was beat up a bit after being rerouted rwice and forgot to be loaded on the truck, it held up fairly good.After opening and inspecting everything, one of the metal (cheap) decoration end caps was broken and a couple of the headboard slats had dents in the wood. I chose the dark cherry headboard and even though beat up a bit, if you like a distressed look, this was actually good looking. Must say, it is heavy at 84 lbs. and better tow have another assist while attaching to bed frame.As for assembling, very easy and easy to follow instructions. Assemble time 45 mins to 1 hr., not bad at all. Headboard is pedrilled (pilot holes) for both Full and Queen size bed frames, mine was for a Full size bed. I had to drill out two holes on each side which lined up with the bed frame. Attached the four bolts and tightened and maneuvered headboard and frame into place. Great opportunity to vacuum the floor, lol.This being on a full size bed, the headboard sticks out about 3 1/2" on each side of bed mattress. Overall, this is a great purchase and EXCELLENT product for the price and actually better than any other headboards at the local furniture stores. Would have given 5 stars but the packaging was a bit weak even though mishandled by UPS.

I have been searching High and Low for a good inexpensive headboard for the MasterBedroom. This caught my eye right away after I stubbled across it. Although I did leave it in my cart/saved for later for a bit because of the price. DONT LET IT SCARE YOU! Again, Amazon Prime fast delivery. YES you have to assemble the entire thing yourself, but it is worth it! Very heavy and sturdy. Perfect to any room. For Assemble I did give 4 stars as not all the screw holes matched up and you really had to work with it several ways. Overall its perfect. Our night stands are from Hobby Lobby and they match so perfect!!!

Great price. Looks really nice.Assembly was not too complicated I wonder why they label some pieces but not all? Did they run out of the A and K letter stickers?The width of the legs doesn't work to attach to my queen metal bed frame but it's stable enough between the bed and wall.

This thing is HUGE. Much bigger than I had expected. It is also HEAVY! While it is nice looking, may of the holes did not line up. One of the screws actually went through the back support wood and all the way through the front of the headboard. It drives me nuts seeing the hole every day.So, biggest issue I have with this headboard is that is makes noise every time we move. When the hubby rolls over at night, the headboard makes a terrible racket. We have tried reinstalling it, but no luck.Again, it is very heavy and very big. It comes in one box. I suggest you have at least two people bring it in the house. The UPS driver left it on the front sidewalk, right in the middle of the stoop, and I had to wait for the hubby to bring it in with me. It took about an hour and a half to assemble. NOTE: There are a bunch of pieces and you have to assemble it all. Instructions were pretty well written and ok to follow. Suggest putting it together in the room you plan to put it in to avoid my mistake of putting it together in the living room and having to carry it to the master bedroom. UGHI pride myself on being honest and providing as much detail and information as I can based on my experience with the product.
