I deliver parcels for a well-known online retailer ;-) I use my mobile phone for scanning labels and collecting signatures. Last winter I was continually having to take my gloves off to use the phone and ended up not using my gloves at all. I did find a pair of gloves which allowed me to use the screen but they were very thin and not warm at all. This year I'm more prepared; I found these on Amazon, they are nice and thick without being too heavy and they really do make using the phone simple. They have a non-slip coating on the palms, ideal for driving and picking up cartons and a useful clip for keeping them together in my bag when not in use. I almost can't wait for winter.....

I bought these for the coming winter and have started using them already for the cold mornings. They keep my hands nice and warm and they’re also waterproof too - which is handy considering I’m in the UK!The touchscreen finger works great - even when it’s wet. The gloves are very comfortable with a soft fleece like lining on the inside. A handy little addition that I like is there is a clip on each glove so they can be joined together when you’re not wearing them. Making it impossible to lose 1 glove! Nothing worse than only having the one!There is lots of rubber like grips on the face of the glove, and this helps with gripping things. I drive with these gloves on and they’re just like a second skin. Would recommend.

The gloves look great and function well. They are stylish sports gloves. I enjoy wearing these whilst cycling as they keep my hands nice and warm. The touch screen feature is ideal as I often take my phone out on rides to take photos so no longer have to remove my gloves each time. They attach to one another making them easier to store without losing one. I would highly recommend these gloves.

I'd like to confirm a few points:Waterproofness - the back of the hand and fingers have a hydrophobic coating applied to them. This section stays dry under a tap. The palm section gets wet, so no coating applied here. This isn't a problem outdoors, since your palm faces inwards.Size - I chose a size small. I'm a 5 ft 6 bloke with stubby hands and a small?(ish) thumb. The gloves fit PERFECTLY.Quality - no issues with stitching. No issues with branding. They feel well made.Lining - it's a synthetic fleece. Absolutely fine for cold weather, unless it gets really cold.Overall, good gloves. They work with smartphones too.

I have only worn the gloves once, and they didn’t keep my hands as warm as I thought they would. But to be fair it was only a short walk and my hands were quite cold to begin with. They are quite thick and the material feels a reasonable quality. The only couple of niggles are that the fingers with the touch pad on have quite a rough seam inside and that particular finger seems short in comparison with the rest. The rest of my fingers have excess fabric ( which isn’t a problem ) but the touch pad finger has only just enough room. I don’t think my hands are particularly unusual shape!

I use a smartphone to record my sightings while out birdwatching and photographing in winter and so needed a decent pair of warm gloves that would still allow me to use my phone and gave these a try. These gloves certainly are warm, though it's still early winter so not had many subzero days yet to test them properly, but so far so good in that respect. With regard the touchscreen ability, it does work, but the compromise of being warm is that the gloves are fairly thick and so it's not easy to be accurate with a small keyboard, and it may just be my screen being cracked, but the colder it is the harder it is to get the gloves to work on the touchscreen. The tighter the gloves are makes a difference to the touchscreen ability, so err on the side of caution with regard hand measurements. I have ended up cutting a small slit on the thumb so I can pop my thumb out to use the touchscreen without having to take the glove off. They are not too thick that I can't work the controls on my camera which is another good feature.
