Does this tool work with old Kilgore toilet from1994?

I need to remove and reinstall the flush valve on a Kohler tank with the canister flapper. Will this be the right size?

The green tool is designed to help remove fill valve lock nuts and tank bolts. To remove the flush valve, you will need a wrench that can adjust larger than 5 inches in diameter, such as a Channel Lock Plier, to remove the lock nut that is holding the flush valve to the toilet tank.
