Great taste. I use a pressure cooker. The whole mass clumps together. It is still very good, but not the fluffy rice I like. I will try a pilaf-style dish next time.

Hard To Find In My Area
Good-tasting, healthy and delicious rice. I’ve been eating brown rice for decades and switched from jasmine to basmati when I read it was the best type of brown rice for the diet. I like long grain because it seems to have firmer and less mushy results than short grain. I can find the short grain version almost everywhere, but long grain? Hello, Amazon.

The Absolute Best
Both the Lundberg organic basmati and short grain brown rice are the best brown rice I have ever eaten. Yes they are expensive but free of pesticides and absolutely delicious. You cannot buy better brown rice. Addendum 8/12/25. I have seen folks complaining about the price and it does cost about 4x regular brown rice. However, the actual cost per meal is small and there is no other rice you can buy free of pesticides and forever chemicals.
