When I lifted the box from my doorstep, I immediately knew I was disappointed. It's described as a "Heavy Duty" rug, however, it's quite flimsy and thin. I normally buy my recycled doormats from Walmart and have attached a picture of thickness for a comparison. I believe the brand is Mohawk. The printed picture is beautiful but I know it will rub off soon. It's also very smooth and feels nice on my hands but will do little to remove dirt from our shoes. Not at all what I expected or had hoped for in a commonly used doormat.ONE YEAR Update, I've had this rug just one month shy of a year from now. It's kept in the garage so it is not exposed to the environment and even so, the printed surface it peeling away from the main part of the rug. I wouldn't purchase this again. It's priced a little high but I'm not overly upset with what I've spent and how long it's lasted. I should've known better. It's a pretty rug, but I don't mind spending more for something that will last a little longer.

I purchased this inexpensive mat for under my dogs' water bowl (I have a couple that do a lot of dribbling) and I didn't expect a lot, because I use them for a while, then retire them to my garden pathways to keep the weeds down, where they last for many years. But I was disappointed by the color. I chose the one that showed gray and tan stones, because it would be the most unobtrusive in my kitchen. However, the one I received is green and rust, with some red, in the correct pattern but with glaring colors. I may send this one directly to the garden, where it will be used, but it won't help my wet floor. If I had known the colors would be so different from the picture I would have chosen a different pattern. Oh, well. I guess it's back to my usual mats from local stores, where I can see the colors beforehand.

Color is beautiful. It is a pretty mat, but is a bit thin. The texture is a bit soft, so it doesn't really do a great job of wiping off your shoes. If you are looking for a purely decorative mat, this is perfect.

This is a medium weight mat that is attractive (to me) and does the job. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it does not fall into the "I love it" category for me. I would have to pay a lot more for the ones that would fit that description.

The design is flat and not exactly what I thought. It's nice and bright colors. I have it inside due to how thin it is. Has non skid back. Overall I like it.

The mat looks exactly as pictured and serves its purpose well. It is thinner than I thought it would be, but that could be a problem with my expectations. For the price, it is quite satisfactory.

When I first received this I was elated that it looked exactly as it was pictured on line. The size was perfect. The next day after setting it on my front porch it rained. The mat proceeded to curl up on the corners and would not lay down until the mat dried out. It's a beautiful thing as long as it isn't raining or extremely muggy outside.
