I have two Beagles and they love these cod skin treats. They are a good serving size for medium to large dogs; I would break them in half for a smaller dog. They are crunchy, which my dogs like, but not too hard. The smell is somewhat strong, because it is dried fish after all, but it doesn't seem to linger on their breath very long or at all elsewhere. My dogs love the Polka Dog brand cod skins too, but they are a little longer (have to break them in half for my dogs, and are a bit more expensive. Also Polka Dog is Atlantic Cod and Simply Wild is Pacific Cod...if that matters at all.

My dog goes crazy for these but they smell.so.bad. Which, I get - it's fish! But if you have a strong aversion to a fishy-smell, be warned. Don't give them to your dog while you're eating (that was a mistake!). And keep them in a cupboard. They do make a mess on the floor (unless your dog eats up all the crumbs - mine doesn't.) I'll continue to buy them since they are natural and my dog loves them!

My dogs really enjoy these and I feel good that they are natural and made in the US. I do recommend them. The only drawback is that of course they smell very fishy and they are very hard and crunchy. One of my dogs (9 years old) recently had several bad teeth extracted so I worry they are a bit too hard for his teeth.

My dogs love these! I have a Westie on a special diet and these are allowed and she loves them! My new little terrier mix also loves these & she’s only 10 lbs. They are the only crunchy treat either dog will eat. They should be good for their teeth too. I’ve given pieces to my friend’s dogs, my mother’s dog, & my neighbor’s dog- they all went nuts for them!

The media could not be loaded.  I was worried when I saw the shape of this treat cuz he didn't like same shaped from other company. But this one is light & crunchy he absolutely love them.

Oh, the dogs go NUTS for these! I have to count my fingers to be sure they didn't remove any when they grabbed the treat! they're a little bit expensive so will be more of an occasional treat, but my buddies are worth it!
