I previously purchased large safety pins from another seller for 8 pins. I needed more pins so I ordered these 20 pins from this seller. The difference blew me away, these pins are super strong and I had more than enough left over. I use these to pin my sheets to the mattress so the sheets don’t wrinkle and bunch up. I can say these pins are very strong and will not open up under pressure. I recommend these if you need super strong pins.

i used these for something that most would not! i bought and used these safety pins for keeping a nasa blanket between either two sheets or blankets! it worked amazingly well! however, i am a massive bed turner which defeated the purpose of the safety pins by making the nasa blanket tear! so, what i'm saying is they were constructive and useful and still are for other purposes, but, it's back to the drawing board for my nasa blankets and making them more durable! i highly recommend these safety pins for any function because of cost effectiveness, durability, and possible rust resistance!

I have some very heavy curtains that I love however they are actually too long and I don’t sew… Used them to shorten curtain length by pinning them up using these heavy duty pins. Nobody sees the pins of course, they face the wall; they did the trick! They are large so they are difficult somewhat to get through thick drapery material but with patience I got it through!

These are a bit hard to open and close because they are so sturdy, about as strong as industrial rivets. They are meant to be used with the open weave of blankets. Since I wanted them to penetrate sheets, I needed to sharpen them on a grinder.

Pins are as advertised. Finding uses for these I never thought of. Like that they are strong yet easy to open and close and that they lock closed securely. Finish seems like it will hold up. These are marketed as being "sharp". Perhaps so when compared to similar items. However I found that I still needed to sharpen them with a file. That's the reason I deducted 1 star. That said, I would buy them again vs. trying other brands.

Huge and sturdy. I use this to hang blankets off my daughter’s bunk bed because she loves sleeping in her “fort”.

Wish they were sharper. Some are are fairly sharp but others are just dull out of the package. I am using them to pin together some faux fur. Took some work to get the tip through the fabric. Have to do it one layer at a time. They need to be sharper. They are good as far as safety is concerned. They won't pop open like a regular safety pin.

Camping we use moving blankets as mattress covers. These pins went through three moving blankets, sheets, and camper mattress (which is tough) to secure our bedding. It keeps everything from bunching up. I don’t have to struggle in the space above the truck cab (yes it’s a truck camper) every morning to put the bed back together! Don’t know how I lived without them for so long.
