Waste of Money…it’s a rust stick
It is a sharp knife, but strangely, even with its knife, cover it discoloured. Rusted no matter what I did. Tried to repair and it was utterly useless. Ended up throwing it away. Do not buy!!

im still not sure if i like it.
Im not sure on the steel, i think its SK3 or SK4. it takes a wicked edge but doesnt keep it long, so im stroping about every 40lbs of chicken. not too shabby for 70 bucks

One Great Knife
What can I say? Its a beautiful knife of great quality and manufacture in Japan not China. My wife loves it as she was born and raised in Japan and knows the quality and pride in manufacturing knives.

Discolors very very easily
I used it and left it wet for about 30 minutes and it’s totally discolored. If you buy this dry it immediately! It cuts very well

Do NOT buy this unless you are obsessed with sharpening
After one week of use, this knife became rust even though you kept it with oil.

Sharp, reasonably priced, with a little breakage found on the blade. It feels good to use
