Q: I stripped the rca cable. there are 2 wires one is insolated white and the other is bare wire. which one goes in the hole with the screw?

The middle with the screw is the positive. Most of the time you look closely at the length of the coated covering of the cable to tell which is positive. I'm guessing that the white is the positive and the bare is negative. So then the white goes to the middle.

I tried was actually unhappy with this product. They came with a little bit of corrosion in the connection point. I would recommend getting a subwoofer conversion kit. They are out there and convert 2 wire systems to RCA.

To the hole in the strut that sticks up and has a press clamp on the end of it as it will ground the outer casing. Red to the screw terminal to feed the center pin.
