I not only purchased a Via Spiga Black Trench coat for myself in Large last year and fell in love, but also got a 1XL for my mother recently.This trench is flattering, water resistant (but not really tested against hard rain and probably not water PROOF), doesn't pick up too much pet hair (I have a long haired, white dog and the hair is the bane of my existent), and it travels well. It is not especially warm (see: unlined), but you can layer accordingly and folds up nicely and does not wrinkle very badly.I find the fit flattering for both our bodies (ie chunky but funky), and a great staple to add to our wardrobes without breaking the bank.

I ordered this coat according to the sizing chart and it was way too big. The coat is of very good quality and the material and color are beautiful. I was further disappointed that to exchange for a smaller size Amazon would apply only the price I paid to a coat that is now $56 more than the sale price I paid. An even exchange should be an even exchange. For this reason I am getting credit on my account and returning a coat that would have been perfect in another size.

I loved the jacket it was almost perfect but it was to tight I would never be able to drive wearing it so I am returing it.

This is a beautiful jacket. I over estimated my size and ordered a 3xl, when I should have went with a 2xl. It’s true to sizing. I returned mine. It was a beautiful color, would have been great for the rain.

I bought this for my mom and it’s so beautiful on her. She is 5” tall and it fits so well on her. She is a size 20 in clothing and bought the 2x and it fits true to size. The blue is just so pretty and nice for spring. She is waiting to wear it on Easter Sunday and she is so happy with it. I definitely recommend this trench to anyone looking for one.
