Its interesting reading the different ways to deliver a message and how it can be interpreted by the recipient, however some of the comments that are described as being "encouraging" come across as being outright sarcastic. More than likely due to this being created by an American author it doesn't translate across the pond. Update: I have had another flick through this book, and its crap. I don't have much positive to say about it. Its just list upon list of phrases but with no explanation behind each phrase. Its also painfully American. Returned item for refund.

I love this book. It's purpose is to write evaluations on your supervisors as opposed to your supervisor's writing evaluations on his/her employees. It also has some useful information on how (as a supervisor) you can motivate, handle conflicts, discipline in private, and praise in public. It's a guide all new and experienced supervisors and managers should own.

These books are well written. I'm not sure if I ever used anything out of this one.
