Bought for my daughter turning 5. She absolutely loves it & I love the parental controls. Easy to set up. Only complaint is I found it cheaper on Argos the week after I bought it! Shop around!

I brought these as a upgrade from the fire 7 which had a poor battery life and runs slow and space wasn't enough.I got the pro 32 gb 8inch and 10inch And the difference in speed quality and space is fantastic. They can download any app they want but I have to authorize it first on the parent app.YouTube like the previous tab you have to add which channels you want to be viewed but if you want an open browser the ln you can. I didn't want them to be searching on YouTube Free.The pro can still be set for 4 year old even though from 6+ I love the face you have education goals before gaming and I can pause all devices from my phone Whis is handy at dinner time.Amazon really thought of the kid and what the parents want for their children...well done ✅

This product is absolutely perfect for my 6 year old. It is slightly bigger than her previous 7inch kids tablet, and as it is the pro it has more options on there to use things such as Netflix or Disney+ you just have to make sure that the age limits are set appropriately.She is very happy and able to handle it well. The battery is leagues above the previous which I had to charge every day.A bargain.

Bought 2 for my 4 year old and for my 2 year old.Great parent controls, easy to use, good battery life. Love the education section where they learn through playing games. Great for travelling. Definitely would recommend. Get a screen protector too (bought from Amazon, 2 in a pack).

nothing wrong with the device, all amazon devices are rock solid and would recommend in a heart beat to anyone with kids they work there safe to leave your child on knowing they cant buy anything or be shown anything thats not in the peraental control setting. battery life is great the apps that are on it keep entertained and educated and all my 3 children love them. the pro is much faster than previous generations, the outer hard shell makes it more sleek, don't know how well it will bounce compared to the others but nice to hold in your hand. great product all round well worth the money.(see update for fix)one thing to note is the UI is not the same it's designed for older children and has access to a store (in previous models you were given a list of apps videos and it was one click, so its a learning curve again. This is then made worse - as this new ui what a mistake it puts the software of the pro on, every device making the other devices useless for younger children as they the easy to use dashboard gets replaced with a teenage version ( even though they are not a pro ) customer service just says it's my problem. Basically, deal with it.(update)to the technical support for Amazon who basically told me to deal with it - if you restore the device back to factory settings and don't let the child profile that's on the pro device link with the older devices this new UI don't sync across, problem solved.

This is so much better than the previous version. Alot more grown up looking and the charging port has been updated to a 'C adaptor' which is so much better than the previous which always ended up going loose! It charges so much quicker and so far seems to hold the battery life for alot longer than the previous model. I got 2 for my youngest (age 4 and 5) both have had no issues with them but much prefer how more responsive the screen is compared to the other one they had. They've already been dropped a couple of times and so far so good with the new slim design case.
