Adventure in Morocco

The quality of the illustrations and story telling here is amazing!Makanaka is a lovable girl who goes on an adventure to Morocco. I particularly love the fact pages at the end of the book.

My daughter is only two but she loves to sit and listen as I read her this book. It's well written with an engaging flow, and the illustrations are beautiful. I like that it's a story about some girls looking for a lost ball (because what kid's book doesn't need a story, right?) and along the way five Arabic words are taught, and there's a nice two page spread at the end with photos of the real Morocco.As another reviewer said, I like that he protagonist is a strong girl and not a princess type. My little girl and I will eagerly await Makanaka's next adventure!

I thought it would be about Morroco!It was about a girl who lost her ball!!!Not even close to being a learning tool at all! Was so disappointed. My grandkids were not impressed!!! Was NO adventure at all!!!

I loved the illustrations, and writing style. Accessible for many ages.
