I must stress this is the third book in the series so please read Mages of star sea and the orb of binding first as these two books establish the world and characters in this book.Lucian is now a resident or the mad moon Pysyche an unforgiving world full of many unknown dangers. Survival is more of a priority here than his task to retrieve the orbs of Starsea.The story really starts to take off now as the main characters are established in the first 2 books. Easily my favourite of the series so far, full of new and dangerous obstacles and characters as well as Lucian’s own doubts.
