Review: Metallic and a decent price - When trenching / burying pipe,be sure to at least backfill with sand touching the pipe and if you can't backfill the whole trench with sand do rhat. I always put sand 8 or 12 in below the surface with this marking tape and make sure everybody knows if you ever hit sand you're fixing to hit buried plumbing

There appears to be the full 1000’. Just as reliable as typical marking tape, which is always hit or miss. Tracer wire is still better.

It is as advertised. Metal detector picks it up and will be very obvious if evwr dug up. Buried it half the depth of the water line. Only problem is that now I have 900ft left over. Guess I need to put in another couple buried water lines....
