I have used these type of forceps for many years. I used to be a pathology medical transcriptionist and could get them for free. These were a little shorter than I'm used to, but work just fine. I often adjust jewelry that I own or order, like I'll order 2 pairs of earrings and turn one pair into a matching pendant, and these are very helpful. Also they help to put better earring hooks on. They are helpful in the kitchen to take off those awful seals that are stuck on bottles of meds, beverages, etc.
