This umbrella base worked perfectly for my 10by10 foot umbrella. I love that you can either fill it up with water or sand. I used water and it was super easy to fill up and put together no instructions needed.

Definitely does a better job of holding the base of the umbrella down from wind than sand bags alone. Each of the 4 sections were easy to fill with water. One of the sections/squares has already gotten a small hole in it (not sure how) on the top, but it’s not damaging the integrity of the weight overall. So durability might be limited, but you get what you pay for haha. We added our 2 sand bags on top for added peace of mind. So far the umbrella hasn’t fallen over or moved one bit!

The product works well. We filled with water. One of the segments was leaking so I contacted the company and they sent me out a replacement segment quite quickly. Good customer service. Good product even if a bit expensive.

Got on sale verry nice

We bought this product at a discounted price because it was returned but supposed to be in new condition. The return date has gone by but our deck was under construction so today was the first day that we assembled the umbrella and filled the base plates with water. Two of the base plates were damaged and unable to be used as some of the holes on the under side were broken and leaked water. Our mistake for not checking the bases upon receipt. A cautionary tale.

Value for money: Overall decent, however the way this product and umbrella stand come together is poorly designed, and a strong wind will have your umbrella in the neighbors yard due to the base coming unhooked

They are sturdy, easy to fill with water and definitely crucial when you purchase the side umbrella.

We order a box of these, and 3 of the weights had holes in them and could not hold any water. We ordered a second box, and one of them had a huge hole in it!! If these were made to actually hold water, they would actually work really great.
