Best Knife Period!!!
The quick version is the blade came very sharp the assisted opening worked smooth after five times of opening and I would buy it again.ProsThe blades look is perfect I love how the tip tapers to the point and there is plenty of working area on the blade. The assisted opening system is the best I have seen it pushes the blade the full length of the blade travel a lot of others spring it open for the first quarter and let the momentum take it the rest of the way. This one doesn't engage till about 15-20 degrees and then powers through till it locks so if something gets in the way while opening it will continue to open once the it has the chance instead of snapping shut, cutting yourself, or just left half open swinging. The clip has a little dip that is perfect for your finger helping it become part of your hand as well as having a tab at the end for getting it out fast and has multiple holes for lanyards. The handle fits great feels good in hand and being light perfectly balances the knife on your index finger making the over all feel light and fast. The lock on it works smooth with either hand and can be pushed toward the blade to click into an area holding it even more securely. The play in the blade is so minimal I wonder if the other reviewers had poorly adjusted knives mine came fine. I put a little oil on it and have had no problems at all.The safety takes me no time at all to disengage with the flick of a finger it's off and it is located in an area were my ring finger locates it naturally. It has a click so as to prevent accidentally moving it. Having kids and things in my pockets am very glad it's there.ConsAll in all I love the everything about the knife and would recommend it fully it is very fast from pocket to open even with the safety on and is a great EDC if you're thinking of getting it do you will be very pleased.(Update)Have had it a few months now and not a single problem the TiNi finish is like new even though it's in my pocket with my keys. The edge is still VERY sharp and has handled a lot of abuse SOG's knives seem to be like a fine wine that just get better with time. If I were to lose this knife I would buy this one all over again with out delay it's always in my pocket and the first one I go for.

Finally a knife for lefties!
I was planing to ravage this knife in the review here, as it was really beginning to piss me off.So I put up against a Ken Onion Blur and it was looking really 2-3 star (keeping in mind that 3 is average, and the Ken is a really solid 5).The clip was wrong, the release was wrong, ergo was terrible, the safety.. well you can go argue knife safeties with the people who argue gun safeties. It was just all wrong.I hated this knife so I decided to be a jerk. This thing was going to go up against an H1 knife in a dry shaving competition. What is more, since I was building a dislike for the knife, the Spiderco warrior was going to get the benefit of being the right hand knife, as I am right handed. That is when I figured out that this was a lefty's knife. In the left hand everything is amazing. The AUS-8 somehow beat the H1 in edge retention (by a small amount), it cleaned its wookie arm nicer that the Warrior and with 1 less nick, while being run left handed by someone who is not a lefty. Both need sharpening/stropping now.. remember I said "wookie arm" not "10 year old boy arm" the hair that both of these went through would intimidate a chainsaw.Yes, I could have been a complete jerk and run them against the Feather straight razor.. But when you think you are already fixing the race, who needs a ringer. In the end as a 37$ knife (Amazon sale) for lefties, I'm not sure you can beat this, ever.If you are a right hander I'd take the Ken Onion Blur every tad of the week due to the 45 degree thumb stud alone, not to mention the knife's more beefy feel. Also, as a side note: While Tanto blades are great for cleaning your teeth, cleaning your fingernails is more risky/ouchy/crappy. So when you are bored, with a knife, figure out which you are more likely to do and pick your EDC appropriately. It's only maybe drawback, is its very elegant (dare I say "feminine"?) form and weight. If you love a light, slim, fast, knife, this is for you. If you need something that simply has beastly/comforting weight, you will never be comfortable with this knife.

Great Knife!!
This is one of my favorite knives I've ever had and I have been a knife fanatic since I was about 9 or 10! This knife snaps open cleanly and quickly and as you can probably tell is very sharp! In my opinion SOG is one of the best pocket knife sellers out there! I say that only because their knives are of very high quality without charging 200+ dollars for them! I have yet to see a SOG knife that wasn't of the highest quality! They have a lifetime warranty on all of their products and they make sure that every knife they sell is razor sharp out of the box!The blade is very high quality and holds an edge extremely well!! It is almost hard to sharpen the blade is so high quality but I have a cheap sharpener so I'm betting that's all it is... Some folks have mentioned that the safety on the handle can be an annoyance and I will admit that at times it can be frustrating but it's no where near a big enough deal to knock a star off for!! I've just gotten used to pulling it out of my pocket and running my thumb over the safety so that I know its ready to snap open!! I also love SOG's patented reverse carry pocket clip!! Just to give a quick comparison...On other knives the pocket clip is near the top which causes the knife to stick out of your pocket in a not only awkward but noticeable way. This also causes problems because it can be slightly painful at times to sit down because the top of the knife jams into your hip... But with the reversible low carry pocket clip the knife sits low in your pocket and even the heaviest of SOG knives will go unnoticed by you and those around you. It's so cool you really can't even feel the knife in your pocket! So I would say definitely a good buy!! Very good and durable knife!!
