Missed opportunity
There's a need for a book discussing the views of those who combine Christian and neopagan practices and beliefs, but this book doesn't meet it: I give it two points for trying. The first section presents an overview of Paganism and Christianity. Having acknowledged that not all neopagans are Wiccans, the authors then proceed to present the beliefs and practices of Wicca as if they were representative. For Christianity, a quite good account of the history of the Old Testament and the origins of Judaism is followed by a poor account of the beginnings of Christianity based almost entirely on one controversial author. The second section is sociological: if you are impressed by terminology like StriveDrive, FlexFlow, and Concept Holons, then this is for you.The last section is made up of discussions of various topics between the authors and a group of ChristoPagans: sometimes interesting, sometimes not.
