If you want to listen to some of jJimi Hendrix’s best blues and guitar playing ,buy this Album!Jimi Hendrix Blues” And if your a guitar player buy this book as first of all it is a beautiful book with accurate transcriptions to every song on the JiminHendrix blues album. This album was released after Hendrix passed away,but the collection of songs is far from his psychedelic work and commercial music , However it is such a great collection of Hendrix blues playing! If you ever wondered why Jimi Hendrix was ever considered ground breaking the best Guitar player ,well you will understand andget it once you listen to this entire Blues album and it will quickly be your favourite Hendrix album ,Jimi Hendrix Sound is spectacular as their are many slow blues tracks And believe me this is Hendrix at his best Be sure to listen at night just before you crash out and really get prepared to be blown away and just think that some of this playing is nearly 50 years old but really stands the test of time(the book that I am supposed to be reviewing has a little story and history I believe with every song The book also has some great photos and again every song is transcribed for guitar. It is such a shame Hendrix didn’t concentrate solely on his blues guitar playing as again it is just spectacular listening to this album as I wish he would of recorded many more. Buy this book and the album!!!

By far, my favorite Jimi Hendrix album. Hal Leonard aren’t the easiest to play but they’re outright the most accurate. Adapt it to your own music style and you’ll be playing like a star!

Great collection of accurate transcriptions and f some of the best of Jimi’s work. When I found tabs on sites like guitar tab it d play it and realize it sounded nothing like the song, played the same riff according to the book and it was note for note perfect.
