A: I bought one as well and there were no flow directional markings. I contacted the seller and they replied back with the following answer " you can install it in any direction". I'm skeptical, but will return if it doesn't work.

Perfect fit, and much less expensive than others that have multiple connectors options. Our marine tank has standard female garden hose swivel connections that this screws right onto and snapped right into competitors bracket. $100 cheaper buying 2 more soon.
