So I had some concerns before the purchase. I was worried that ordering larger sizes for someone taller and a bit more broad wouldn't work with this dress. And I was correct. The larger sizes you go in the less of a fitted shape that was intended you will have; so you'll have to get it tailored. The loop straps are ether a hit or a miss and for me it was a miss. They do not fit in the holes and I'm going to see if a tailor might be able to do some alterations.My advice with this dress, good if you're short and under a size 12, otherwise you'll need a tailor. And the loop buttons are a hit or miss.

This was a a good dress, it was exactly what I wanted for the event. The material was good, not too heavy so that it was stiff but heavy enough to hold it's shape. As for the four stars, instead of 5, the dress was sewn is such a way that the side seams over the hips were shifted by approximately a half inch so that the slit up the sides didn't sit evenly. It ended up causing me to show a bit more leg.I'm 5 foot 3 inches, it came to just above my knee and was the perfect length. I'm a size 8-10 body, 12 chest. The 12 in this particular dress fit perfectly, the 14 was much too large.Note this, the side slits are pretty high. You cannot sit in this dress, it's for a standing event only.

Years ago, I’ve had horrible luck in purchasing Mandarin dresses online.But I decided to give it another try and I’m in love with my dress.I’m 206 lbs., 5’5 and ordered size 18 and it fits great. Of course it’s a bit roomy in the chest area. But my concern was that it fit my butt and hips. I guess I could have went with a size 16, but I didn’t want to chance it.I’m African American and I enjoy wearing clothing from many cultures for many years. Of course I ask if it’s ok to wear them. But I enjoy the textures, colors and prints. I also get many compliments when I do as well.I’ll probably buy 2 more. 😃

(writing this for my wife) Buttons are not that great feels like they would pop open at anytime, the loop buttons on the top part are extremely hard to fasten( loops to small for knots, the shoulder material at the seem is sewn weird so the crease is wider in one area, the back is sewn to make it bunch above the lower back instead of it been smooth. The good is the material is beautiful, I would get one size larger so you can take it somewhere to have it tailored. Honestly need to be about $20 cheaper.

The dress is absolutely Beautiful. the wife looks great in it. Of course it is mainly meant for women with smaller figures. this is clear by the way its cut. that's not to say a slightly curvy lady couldn't use this dress as it comes in larger sizes, a good thing. but cut rather close to the figure if you know what I mean. its not loose fitting at all. As far as durability goes, she's only worn the dress once so don't know how well it may hold up but looks fairly well made. again, this dress looks great obher and she's gotten loads of compliments on the dress. I think, it you get the sizing right you will love this dress.

I like this dress, fits nice, however the zipper broke right when I put it on, like I didn't get to even wear it yet and it broke. I wrote to them they said they test the zipper out 3 times, it must have been because it didn't fit. This dress did fit perfectly, I just think the zippers are alittle cheap. I had to watch a YouTube video to put a new zipper in. My advice put better zippers in the dresses. The put a nice skarf in the package and it was really pretty, super nice to do that. Sizes do run small. I am 5 6", 130 lbs. Usually I'm a 4 in size and small, but I read the reviews about being small so I changed it to a large. The large is a perfect fit. :) they are a great company. They send me a refund percentage for the zipper problem. Which was super nice. I wI'll order here again.
