Neat little gadget.
My brother in law works in food service supply, and he often gets us bulk pasta. I mean like big bags. Bigger than an infant. We always had a hard time gauging what the right serving size was, and usually ended up with waaayy too much. I got this, and it seems to be pretty accurate. Portions seem a little big still, but that could also be me shoving too many spaghettis into the hole. Overall, a useful tool to have in the kitchen!

HOW OFTEN DO YOU WASTE PASTA (OR YOU DON"T COOK ENOUGH) ? Read On...
REVIEW FOR: Batino 4-Hole Stainless Steel Spaghetti Measure Tool for Spaghetti Pasta GadgetPURCHASED FROM AMAZON: DEC. 2022Something simple finally. No moving parts, yet scientific and low tech. These are just holes for measuring pasta but it comes complete with a handy metal carrier so you won't ever loose the holes. If you are tired of cooking a boat load of pasta for just you and a friend, this is what you need. If you have your kids' friends over and you need a quick meal, pasta can save the day. With this handy measuring device, you can avoid wasting pasta and still get that army filled and happy! Stick your pasta in the different size holes to determine how much pasta a 16 year old can eat vs. a six year old. Of course you will need to determine if your 16 year old is a "one, two, three or four" hole but that's half the fun. The other half is finding out just how much pasta you REALLY need. Fun, fast and no moving parts (oh, we said that already). Saving money and pasta on your future meals will quickly pay for this handy gadget filled with holes. Also great for high school & college students, bachelors and those new to cooking. Get yours today (or for someone who always cooks too little or too much pasta).FULL DISCLOSURE - My spouse actually asked for this gadget and still loves it.

Approximate measurement tool for imperial system users
This spaghetti measurement tool is nice and sturdy and easy to keep clean. However, it seems it only provides an estimate of the amount of spaghetti you are using. There are numerical markings of 1 thru 4 and it says "mass" on the tool, so I'm assuming each hole is 1-4 kilograms, but I'm not positive of this. So, if I want 1/2 pound of spaghetti, I'm out of luck. Now, the box I get my spaghetti from is a 1 pound box. If I approximate 1/2 of this box it is more than the "4" hole in the tool. Also, what about a 1/4 pound? I guess it would be more useful to those of us using imperial (western) measurements if the holes corresponded to our system better.

Helps when cooking spaghetti
Husband was always cooking way too much spaghetti. This helps him know exact amount to cook. Spaghetti can be very deceiving on how much it will make

Useless
No markings to indicate servings. I could just grab handful of pasta and probably guess close enough.
