Tell Me Where to Get Some Hot Fae
Stone and Secret is my first Nocturne Academy novel, and I am ashamed I've not read the series already!Emma Plunkett is the white bread of young ladies. She's the average of unforgettable, you just saw her, and you don't remember it. She's trying her best to survive the meanest of Nocturne Academy because even white bread has to deal with mold. Emma's mold? That would be Morganna Starchild, beast of a Fae, mean girl gone wild.Emma thinks she's pulled the short straw when lined up to be lab partners with one of the most unfortunate looking students in school, Bran O'Connor. It seems like one more thing for which Morganna to snipe at her, but she quickly finds herself seeing more in Bran than what is on the surface. This is good because soon, she finds herself needing some help getting out of a sitch that is skin deep.Emma, Bran, and his friend Lachlan now have to maneuver through Nocturne Academy's social scene under new rules, which upset the kettle and leave them all in the stew. A tasty place for these three babes because things are about to go straight from the pan into the fire. Why I'm using a cooking metaphor here, I don't know.Stone and Secret was a fan-freaking-tastic book!I loved Emma, Bran, and Lachlan, and I really wish there was romance! However, there is nothing about this book that I felt was wrong or that I would change. I am dying for Avery's book! OMG, already! There are some typos, but try to look past them.Recommend Highly. As a matter of fact, don't be me. Start at the beginning.I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary advance copy of this book.

Another winner.
I like this series a lot. It is special and tender and I am now reading it the third time. The writer has a sweet but sophisticated way of addressing others, including Avery and Saint. The writer promised to have Avery in his own book and I hope that this works out the relationship between him and the Blood Drake.I hope that she does not forget to give Jalli her own book. She sure is special too. Don't wait too long; I wish the next one comes out soon.I also have purchased and am reading the whole Kindred Series. And you do not have to be a young adult to read it. I am 64 years old, a retired teacher, and enjoying all the series a lot.

The ugly duckling becomes a swan
I am really loving this series! The author brings all of her fantastic characters and sticky situations to each book while dialing it back a little to make them YA appropriate. I love how she manages to bring the trials of high school to life between the pages of the books. Especially this one! Who hasn’t dreamt of a magical transformation that made you so much more than the wall flower you have always seemed to be? Then throw in two hotties whose total focus is on you and it is every girl’s dream. This book is a fantastic addition to the series. I enjoyed it so much that I actually purchased the paper back version for my daughter as well. This could be the new Twilight, a fantastic set of books that mothers and daughters can enjoy together.

Better than the first two books in this series.
There are fewer errors, better dialog and a fun story, coupled with the undeniable charm of Nocturne Academy. Though the ending felt rushed in gathering all the loose ends. A lot of well trodden tropes are rehashed. Many Disney movie themes piled together to make for an entertaining pulp read. Quick to write and quick to read. I enjoyed it quite a bit and wish that Ms. Anderson would write from a broader view about the Academy. These YA books appeal to me far more than the spicier titles she has written before.

Kind of the same story as the others
Meh. Not my favorite one of the series. It was SUPER predictable and kind of reusing the same idea as the other two. Mean girl targets our heroine and then gets her just desserts. The love interest starts off liking her and then LOVES her quickly afterwards. She is secretly something amazing, fierce battle, happily ever after. I am also a dirty bird and always want more romance and canoodling in each book. I feel this is just a stepping stone towards Avery's book. That is the one I want. Worth reading this one to not be lost though.

Wish she could write faster
I am a full grown 40 something woman and as far removed from YA as you can get. However I read everything Evangeline Anderson Right in this series is no exception. I wasn’t sure what to expect going into this series, but I have found myself pleasantly surprised by the unique world building, the complexity of characters, and their unique challenges/ abilities. While there isn’t a great deal of “heat” so to speak, there is a lot of steam between characters. Can’t wait for the next one!

Balance
I knew there was something special about Emma! I waited patiently and I was not disappointed! I also really enjoyed Bran and Lachlan. ;) I was happy the trip to the Fae Realm did the nod-to-famous-fairytales without rehashing old stories. The Realm is wild enough without going off on wild tangents. ;)

Stone and Secret
Wow! This is Emma's story and how she is dealing with a bully named Morganna, who is a beautiful but evil fae. In this book she meets two guys who will protect her with their lives through her journey to find out who and what she really is. I really, really enjoyed this book.

Loved it!!!!
I pushed reading this one as long as possible. I wanted the next one in the series to be out before I started style and secret. But I couldn't resist the allure anymore. I know this is YA but it is still engrossing and well written for any genre. Waiting anxiously for the next one.

I've read every book from this series and love them. A total different style from the kindred series but amazing in its own right. Can't wait for the other books to come out.
