BELLAutomotive 22-1-37035-8 Inside-Outside Thermometer and Clock

This is a great product for the price. The 'blue light' is NOT a backlight but a light to the side that is a blue tint. It does work pretty well but pic/info a little misleading. The cord is long but as I struggled to find a place to put it I ended up putting it above my mirror on the windshield. The cord was not quite long enough to reach behind the bumper from there. I believe it would reach if placed near the steering wheel or to the left of the steering wheel. Seems accurate and works well with indoor, outdoor, and clock for the price compared to others that were more the 2x's as much.

Bought it for my husbands truck, which is older and didn't have a thermometer. He loves it and says it works great.

I did everything right on the installation and even used the alcohol wipe to clean the surface where the sensor went on my vehicle but once the truck was going down the road the wire came off of the sensor, before I could get the truck stopped, the sensor and that was left on the wire ripped off in the wind and an L showed up on the screen, I think if I was to buy another one I would glue everything together with Crazy Glue where the sensor is and then see if that works

I have one of these on my motorcycle so why wouldn't it work in my pickup truck? Well, the answer is because the unit doesn't work. When unit is switched to Fahrenheit it jumps between Fahrenheit to Celsius as it damn well pleases. Don't buy!
