The difference between this 1st edition and the 2nd ed. are negligible. I bought this book (I already had the 2nd ed.) because in the description it said there was a CD. THERE IS NO CD. There never was. No pocket or torn out page. Don't expect one regardless of the seller's description. The price was nice (A couple of bucks and ~5 for shipping. Now I have a well written and easy to understand book. Again. (It does repeat itself a bit though.)

Each book in this series is up to date and easy to understand

I received the book in about 1 week. It is just as advertised. The new classes use all e-books but there is still something to be said to have the printed and bound style text book. This book was is great shape. If I need another gently used text book, this is the first place that I will check.

Well written book that provides a good base knowledge of IT security. It has a great amount of business ethics and policies that are described in detail and give a better understanding of not only IT points of view.

Quite informative and explores keys terms very well. I would consider it similar books from the same publisher or author.
