I guess it could be used as a chest expander hand exerciser
BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front): PIECE. OF. JUNK.I broke my own rule about always checking the ratings and comments. I saw 4 stars and impulsively purchased this hand pump. If I had read the comments and ratings from only the U.S. purchasers, I could have saved time and money. There's a "rubber band" thing circling the end of the plunger. It seems too big and causes the plunger to barely move despite my best efforts. There's no air coming out with or without the tube attached. I took the rubber thing off and the plunger moved with ease, but hardly any air came out. None of the hose attachments fit the item I wanted to inflate (a leg rest for use in bed). I Also don't see how the "air vents" on the top and bottom actually take in air to expel through the pump and tube, they look sealedd to me.After half an hour of pushing and pulling on the thing like an accordion, I felt like my upper body got a good workout. However, i'd prefer to use an actual piece of exercise equipment to do so.I'm returning this and spending a little more for an electric pump. Buyer beware.

Pump up the jam -- NOT!
My wife is leaving me. Not because of this "pump", but it might as well be. I bought this "pump" to fill up a couple of tubes that I was planning on using to float down the river. I showed up, but the river was dried out. Global warming is real! I went to fill my float up so I could at least sit in the dry river bed on a nice cushy float, but the "pump" literally does not blow any air out, so I couldn't even do that. I ended up walking around the dry river bed, stepped on a rusty nail, and got tetanus. The description says it's a dual action "pump" that blows double the air out, but zero times two is still zero. This the most useless piece of plastic I have ever spent money on.

Flimsy but did the job
This is a very flimsy plastic contraption that actually worked. I needed a backyard pool blown up. Not very big, but too big for my lungs, so since this was likely a one time deal for me, bought the cheapest thing I could find. The instructions and advertisement on the product are poor and often funny, but it is so basic you don't need them. Stick the end into the item to be blown up, push the pump down and up. Granted, if I did this every week I doubt it would last more than a few weeks, but it did what I needed.

Large hard plastic tip which won't fit into any firm ball
Really? This thing is ginormous and does not come with a normal pump needle, it has a big hard plastic tip that I was afraid would tear apart my beach ball if I entered it all the way. It took extra time to blow up ball bec I only shoved the tip in part of the way. It did accomplish the job but you'd never get this tip inserted into a regular ball. Want to return.
