Trendy Soprano Ukulele for Beginners 21 Inch Hawaiian Wood Ukelele for Adult Student Starter (Black)

I bought it for my niece who is just learning to play and she loved it. The way it’s painted makes it look more like a toy ukelele, but look good and does the job.

For the price, it sounds great. My daughters love this. I even use it at get together. The strings are sturdy. Overall great for the price.

Quality is so-so but it can surprisingly be tuned and it stayed in tune. Super cute gift for my 4 year old niece.

1. It's sturdy. Kid went full rockstar after a performance and it only chipped the paint.2. It doesn't sound terrible. For the price, I'm very happy with that. Dogs don't howl and it doesn't summon anything dark from the shadows.3. It's good enough for a toddler... and likely a toddler only. It is not "nice, but cheap", it's mostly just cheap. Strings don't stay. Sound isn't consistent. It's very much not a learning instrument and more of a toy uke for a little kid.

I got this for my toddler because she wanted a guitar. This is a very nice instrument made with good wood and strong strings. Very nicely surprised for the good price.

I teach a toddler music class and ukulele’s are very popular with the kids. They get a lot of use with constant playing by little ones that pull on the strings and are not gentle at all with the instruments. This uke is very sturdy and has held up very well to being played by many kids and still looks brand new and the strings are still ready to be played! Great price too!

This is small but works to kids is learning to play

My kids (6 and 9) have been asking after a ukulele for a few weeks and I finally relented and chose this one (in Orange). The kids were very excited when the thing arrived and so we got right to figuring it out. The case is flimsy but the ukulele seems to be built well enough not to worry about it falling apart in the kids hands. This thing is built for small hands and is adorable.We downloaded the GuitarTuna app on the iPhone and quickly had it tuned (the strings needed several good turns of the tuning knob each as they were fairly slack). The strings do seem to go out of tune rather quickly at first, so I recommend stretching the strings a bit after tuning and re-tuning.The tuning knobs seem to do a good job of staying put, so we’re hoping that the strings start to hold their notes longer with each tuning.My 9 year old looked up a tutorial on YouTube and is sitting in his room learning his first chords as his little brother looks on. All in all, we’re happy with the purchase.
