The Middle Passage and the African Slave Trade History of Early America Grade 3 Children's American History

There are not a lot of options for books on this topic for children. I was nervous to order this book since it didn’t have any reviews, but I’m glad I did.What an awful part of our history. My children (5, 7, 9) were very sad to learn more details about historical events that they already knew a little bit about. It offered great discussions on pride and how we need to see other people as human beings and not objects.This book was straight forward and informative. Regardless of where you fall on the conservative/liberal scale, I believe that you will find this book to be a great peak into the African Slave Trade.
