Nothing better than Whitetail Institute products!
I was a few weeks late on getting this plot in.Whitetail Institute products have always grown so well for me. I mixed this plot with Whitetail Institutes Imperial Oats Plus and their Winter Greens (a brassica blend). The plot germinated quickly and established exceptionally well. The Imperial Oats Plus quickly grew to 3-4” tall within a few weeks and is withstanding heavy grazing pressure by many deer very well.Great product! Great service!

VERY happy
Planted this a little late for Minnesota (September 8th). I mixed it with winter peas from whitetail institute. It grew fast, I'd say it's about 10-12 inches tall right now (Oct. 7th) or would be if the deer would leave it alone. All the rain we have been getting is also really helping. I fertilized it with 10-10-10 when I seeded, I didn't take a soil sample like I should have but it was a last minute decision to put the plot in. The honey hole that I planted in the spring didn't come in very well at all which is why I decided to redo the plot. I'm going to skip the honey hole next year and plant this mid August. Deer absolutely love it! I walked up to the plot to put new camo around my stand over the weekend and there was a big doe in the plot eating about 30 feet from me. She liked the plot so much she just kept eating while I was working on my stand. I watched her for about a half hour while I was doing my stuff. The closest she got to me was about 20 feet away. It was incredible how much she didn't care about me being up there. Maybe she is just extremely tame or maybe the food was just too good to pass up. Either way the deer LOVE it, the trail cam proves that. I would highly recommend doing a plot like this to anyone. The deer are way more attracted to this plot than my clover/chicory plots.

Deer love it. In the fall and into winter they keep coming back to the plot. It becomes a mini staging area for moving onto the grain fields.

Great product
It's a great product. Can be used in a annual rotation with other plots like brassicas, or as a cover crop for a fall planting of a perenial plot. I've had great success with it and the deer love it!

Good product high price
Good product but you’re better off buying 5 bags of whole oats for the same price...
