Plot holes but nice romance
Alright book. The plot could have done with a bit more thought. The princess is supposed to go out and find a man to marry and become king. There is no real explanation of this process and why she is doing it in secret with no guards or skills. It is bonkers really. However, off she goes with her equally untrained cousin as escort who is strangely unconcerned with the strange men who start hanging around the princess. He seems to have no personality or purpose really. She spends the whole time mooning around with Rhys. Isn't she supposed to be finding a husband? Shouldn't the king have picked out some suitable suitors first or organised a tourney, quest or something. Just seems a bit odd.Anyway despite the huge plot holes the romance is sweet with some tension and emotion so worth a read if you can ignore the rest.

Glad I waited
I waited for the whole series to finish before I started to read. I new I'd be hooked and I can't wait to keep reading, I love the characters already they are great, and I can't wait for the extra pov from other characters to make their entrances.
