Useful for many applications
I bought this aluminum rod for a college engineering project. I did not end up using it but can attest that it has a smooth finish and can be used for multiple purposes including breaking stuff and confusing hallmates.

Exactly what I needed
A few thousand over 2” and a little longer than advertised (1/16) which works fine for the project I have on the go.Decent value, could have gone to the metal yard but would have ended up costing the same per foot.
