Kidzlane Kids Walkie Talkies (Black) Durable, Easy to Use and Kids Friendly, 2 Mile Range, 3 Channel

So far works great. I use these when I do chores on our farm during nap time. That way when my three year old wakes up he can call for me on the walkie talkie and I can talk to him while I'm on my way in. They are very simple. Three channels. To turn on, simply push up the switch to A, B or C channels. It also works through our metal pole shed barns. I just need to keep coaching my son to release the button after he's done talking!

This is our second set of these. We were surprised at how far the range is. Our first set worked well for years even after being dropped countless times. We were able to use our new set with the working one from our pink set.

The Kidzlane does all that we wanted from a walkie talkie. It's so easy to use, no interference so far, great reception and good volume--though the volume cannot be adjusted. Perfect for an elderly couple. I cannot verify the 2mile range as we've only used it from our back yard to an inside bedroom. It worked perfectly. (I tend to think--though not verified--that the 2mile is on a flat, unobstructed plane. I could be wrong and do plan to test it when the weather permits walking)

We have only had them for a week but so far they work great. We live in a small neighborhood our son takes one with him and we keep one at home. He has the freedom to ride his bike with friends and I have the piece of mind to be able to get in touch with him; without the expense of a monthly cell phone plan.**There is a delay, you need to hold the button for a second before speaking. Once you master that, they work beautifully.

These walkie talkies don't last very long. I replaced batteries and can't get them to work right even though they turn on.

These work great. Very clear and cover a decent distance. We've not tested how far, but we walked a couple houses down and they still worked. Our 5 year old twins use them frequently and there is no issue with them working clearly on opposite sides of the house, upstairs and downstairs. I actually like these better for the kids than real walkie talkies.

This is a great gift for kids (If I can keep the big boys from playing with it). It's wonderful for the little ones to act like the adults with their two-way radios. They work pretty good as long as you can keep the batteries in them.

Very easy and simple to use for our 4 and 6 year olds. Seem to be quite durable. Our kids enjoyed them so much that we bought another set as a gift for our niece and nephew. We have not tested the advertised 2 mi. range, but have had no problem from one end of the yard to the other. Only thing missing is the ability to adjust the volume.
