This harp
This little harp is not everything harpists hope for but it certainly is playable and tiny. The timbre is mildly percussive, not flowing with lingering songlike resonance. So though it tunes up, it plays rather quietly. Somebody sick in a hospital just might like a quiet performance from a lyre like this, the roommate could sleep. I think the strings are made uniquely different so kids can experiment. I put rubber bands on C & F strings as is usually done.

Nice instrument
I expected a black instrument to have flaws in the wood, there are no evident flaws in the wood or the craftsmanship. One of the sharping levers is a bit scruffy. All in all I am quite pleased with the instrument, it is what I expected, and I am happy with my purchase.

levers do not work
The main reason I chose this harp is that it has levers, where almost all other small harps that I find do not have levers. however, the levers consistently rises a whole note instead of a half note. all levers were very stuck, and I'm unable to operate to test them until i greased all the levers. many of the levers are loose at the screw so it wobbles back and forth. i tried to tighten the screw but i couldn't. i thin the screw was too short and of the wrong type so the screw head isn't holding the lever in place. i notice for one of the lever, they actually put in 2 screws, which is the only one that's not wobbly.the levers were also not in alignment such that some of them will hit each other when it's up. however, if the screws can secure the lever, i can probably adjust the angles to make it work. a couple strings were also hitting the lever and make a metallic sound when you play the string and when the levers were down.the pegs are too short to hold the strings where the last loop slides off very easily. there are cracks and dings on the body, which isn't great but i can accept it if the levers will work. the harp arrives extremely dusty. i can't really think of a reason other than it must have been kept in open air in a woodshop and never got cleaned out before it goes into the bag. quite absurd, but then again i can clean it all out myself if only the levers work.can't tell of where the strings will hold the tune, because i give up tuning when i realize that the levers isn't rising half notes.

OK, but broken and only 13 levers
Edit after three months: I noticed tge pillar was separating from the neck, then notice the bottom of the pillar had completely separated from the vase. What I thought was a screw turned out to be a nail and the piece of wood that broke away appeared to have been repaired perviously.I did have three months to enjoy it and experiment with changing levers, but have decided to dismantle it and replace the damaged parts.Again, this is a $100 harp slapped out quickly from China, so we knew not to expect much. The hardware alone was worth the price, so not considering it a total loss.If you like to tinker with things, then give this little harp a try, but go in with eyes wide open.Would not recommend for child or beginner or someone who doesn’t like to figure out how things are made.Edit: Seller contacted me within twenty minutes of my complaint and the next day gave me a fair partial refund as I had asked.Great customer service. They had also called before shipping to verify, which was nice.First impression was it was much heavier than expected. Heavier than my 15 string Aklot.Tuning pins are nice and firm. Levers seem OK, but won’t be able to tell til strings stop stretching.Started checking joints and found it was cracked on the bottom. No more are available, so debating what to do at this point. Whether to ask for partial refund and repair it, or see if they get more soon and swap out. Will see what they say.Was pleased with it til I saw that.Oh, also there are only 13 levers as shown in ad, nit 15 as stated in ad, so beware.Louder than I expected, but can’t play anything til strings settle. Will try to update after contacting company.

Sounds horrible
Maybe I was expecting something different, but this harp isn't easy to hold, the strings don't stay put, and after tuning for two hours, it still sounds awful. I do not recommend.

Cheaply Made, Poorly Shipped
Item came broken in multuple places due to them not actually putting packaging material in the boxes. Very cheaply made, cheap materials, etc. I'd look elsewhere, even for the price.
